Training Session with Quantum Nuova
On September 5th, QT Sense hosted an interactive training session at the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG), designed to showcase the power of Quantum Nuova to future researchers. Master’s and PhD students from diverse fields, including molecular biology, bioengineering, physics, and computational sciences, joined the session. They explored how quantum biosensing detects free radicals inside living cells, linking cutting-edge technology with pressing medical challenges.
What the Students Experienced
The day featured a live hardware demonstration, where participants observed how fluorescent nanodiamonds (FNDs) integrate into Quantum Nuova to measure oxidative stress at the cellular level. A software walkthrough followed, showing how raw quantum signals transform into actionable biological insights. Most impactful, however, was the hands-on lab experience, allowing students to directly engage with the workflows and connect classroom knowledge to practical application.
Student Voices and Feedback
Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with participants expressing excitement about the technology’s potential for diagnostics and therapeutics. For QT Sense, this training aligns with a broader vision: building an ecosystem where young scientists can embrace quantum tools early in their careers. By opening our doors to the next generation, QT Sense aims to foster both curiosity and capability, ensuring that quantum biosensing continues to evolve into solutions that shape tomorrow’s healthcare.
