Innovation for Health — Strengthening the Future of Dutch Drug Discovery

Innovation for Health 2026 highlighted the shift toward proactive, data-driven healthcare.

At Innovation for Health in Rotterdam, organized by Hyphen Projects, QT Sense engaged with a broad cross-section of the Dutch life sciences and pharma ecosystem—from biotech innovators and academic researchers to pharmaceutical leaders and investors. The event highlighted the Netherlands’ strong position as a hub for translating scientific discovery into real-world impact, while also reinforcing a shared industry challenge: improving the predictability and efficiency of early-stage drug development. Representing QT Sense, Romana, Chief Scientific Officer, presented on the role of quantum sensing in drug discovery, alongside a live showcase of the Quantum Nuova platform.

Throughout the event, discussions consistently pointed to the need for technologies that can bridge the gap between molecular data and real biological function. While genomics and proteomics have transformed research, there remains a critical need for tools that provide direct, real-time insight into how cells respond to therapeutic interventions. Quantum Nuova addresses this by enabling continuous, non-destructive monitoring of biochemical activity, offering a functional layer that enhances existing workflows. The strong engagement from Dutch stakeholders reflected a clear appetite for solutions that are not only scientifically advanced but also practical and scalable within current R&D environments. QT Sense was recognized as contributing to the next phase of innovation in the Netherlands—supporting a more data-driven, efficient, and predictive approach to drug discovery.
