At QT Sense, innovation is driven by people who are curious, collaborative, and eager to solve meaningful challenges. This summer, we are excited to welcome three talented interns to our team: Corentin Berhault, Aaron-James “AJ” Santa Cruz, and Krish Gupta. Although they come from different academic backgrounds and countries, they share a passion for advancing science and technology with real-world impact.

Its ability to measure oxidative stress sparked interest in improving treatment evaluation, highlighting how quantum sensing can deepen understanding of tumor dynamics and support more precise therapeutic strategies.

Innovation for Health 2026 highlighted the shift toward proactive, data-driven healthcare.

Quantum Nuova is a microscope platform that measures free-radical dynamics in live cells with organelle specificity, helping teams move critical decision gates earlier in drug discovery. Multi-omics often reveals downstream “consequences” after a perturbation. Quantum Nuova is designed to capture earlier “cause” signals by detecting ultra-weak free-radical activity around fluorescent nanodiamonds via T1 relaxometry. These nanodiamonds are described as photostable, bioinert, functionalizable, and enduring. This enables real-time tracking of redox kinetics during an experiment—establish a baseline, introduce a treatment stimulus, and observe the immediate response in living cells.

By attending the Holst Symposium in Eindhoven, QT Sense actively contributed to raising awareness of quantum sensing and its transformative applications. Immersed in a dynamic environment of students, start-ups, and industry giants such as Thermo Fisher, ASML, and Philips, the QT Sense team witnessed—and helped spark—conversations that bridge cutting-edge quantum science with practical innovation in diagnostics and biosensing.
